My Role : VP Product / Product Manager
Duration : 7 years
- Rehabilitation is often viewed as tedious and challenging, leading to poor patient motivation and engagement.
- Gamified therapy platform that improves patient motivation, drives higher adherence to prescribed rehab programs, and improves measurable clinical outcomes.
My Role
As VP of Product, I owned the end-to-end development of the gamified therapy platform, from strategic concept definition through MVP delivery and market scaling. My responsibilities included aligning stakeholders around the product vision, driving cross-functional execution, and delivering business and clinical impact.

Understanding the Challenge
Phase 1:
Discovery & Product Definition
Objective: Identify key engagement challenges and uncover unmet needs to shape a validated product strategy and roadmap.

Actions
- Led ethnographic research and contextual inquiry across rehabilitation centers to identify behavioral and operational pain points.
- Partnered with design and clinical teams to translate insights into prioritized feature requirements and early KPIs (adherence, session length, patient feedback).
- Validated early hypotheses around engagement as a core driver of recovery outcomes—establishing product-market fit for a gamified approach.
Concept & Usability Testing
Phase 2: Crafting an Engaging Platform
Objective: De-risk the build by validating the gamified therapy concept through iterative prototyping and real-world pilots.

Actions
- Defined MVP scope by prioritizing features that aligned with both clinical efficacy and patient engagement (e.g., real-time feedback, gamification loops, personalization).
- Used agile cycles to test assumptions, gather feedback, and iterate on feature design before development investment.

Impact
- Pilots confirmed that gamified therapy increased patient session time and satisfaction.
- Early feedback allowed us to deprioritize lower-impact features and focus dev resources on what moved the needle.
Bringing the Vision to Life
Phase 3: MVP Delivery & Go-to-Market Launch
Objective: Deliver a scalable, user-centered platform aligned with clinical workflows and patient needs.

Actions
- Directed a cross-functional team (engineering, design, clinical advisors) through MVP development.
- Managed product backlog, facilitated sprint planning, and tracked progress against key delivery milestones.
- Introduced key features including real-time adherence tracking, therapist dashboards, and personalized exercise modules.

Impact
- Launched the MVP on time and within scope across pilot locations.
- Real-time analytics showed a 15x increase in session time and a 2x/day average usage rate.
- Clinical outcome data indicated a 25% improvement in recovery benchmarks versus traditional therapy.
See the Impact
Key Achievements
- Company Growth : Under my product leadership, Jintronix scaled from a startup to a network of 500+ clinical clients across the US and Canada. The product was adopted by hospitals, outpatient centers, and senior care facilities as a standard component of digital rehab.
- Patient Adherence : Increased activity times from 1-2 minutes to 15-30 minutes per session, and utilization of 2 times per day on average.
- Clinical Outcomes : Patients showed a 25% improvement in clinical outcomes compared to traditional therapy methods
- Business KPIs : Increased patient retention and improved satisfaction among clinical providers, contributing to contract renewals and expanded deployments.
